ADAM LAMBERT – ‘Cus Gaga loves him, and so does Pink!!!

Runner-up on the eight season of famous show American Idol is making more and better music than the kid who won the show, but that’s far away from the point of this post.

I wanted to tell you that I’m really surprised with his music, and I don’t want you to take this in a bad way, the thing is that I never thought that American Idol could find major artists (besides Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood), because I really felt they have lost their touch, but lately I was hearing some good old music (Fever by Gaga) and I found out that Lambert got the chance to add this incredible song to this debut album For Your Entertainment because Gaga is absolutely in love with him. She even was there at the studio helping him with her song, you know, because according to Gaga, the song was just not for her, but he was the perfect fit.

Then, I went ahead and looked at some Youtube videos (and I saw the one where Pink  falls in stage because something when wrong with the thing that makes her fly! Haven’t seen that? Well, I’ll leave the link at the end of the post! =D ), and I found one video where Pink sings Whataya Want From Me, and I thought, Pink did it again, she wrote an amazing song, but then she goes and says that AdamLambert does a better job with that one, so (as you may expect) I looked for his version (part of his debut album also), and I really thought that he did a better job than Pink

End of the story, I’ve downloaded the whole album For Your Entertainment, and I have to say that it has some great songs. Congrats to Adam Lambert, and (sadly) some of you may ask, but hey, isn’t he the “gay dude from American Idol”? But one thing that I have to make clear is that, the reason why I love music is that we can express every sort of motion with it, because music is genreless, music has no sex, music is there for everybody and everybody can make good music (except any cast member of the Jersey Shore of course…). So, don’t be judgemental before you hear his material, let’s get that prehistorical thought out of our mind and share the love for music!

Here is the official video for Whataya Want From Me by Adam Lambert.

Whataya Want From Me – Adam Lambert

Here's the Pink’s video of which I was talking about. Believe me (I wouldn’t show the Pinkvideo if she didn’t acted like a pro, just a great performer could hold their posture even when things like that happen)

And, as promised, here's Lady Gaga back in the day, before The Fame arrived, performing a song she wrote called Fever, which is part of Adam Lambert debut album For Your Entertainment.

MIA – You want me XXXO

Mathangi “Maya” Arulpragasam, better known as M.I.A..,  released her third studio album in July 2010 and it’s called /\/\/\Y/\ (Maya, like her name!). This album has a lot of industrial sounds, it has guitars, it has like a rock electronic element inherent in it. Maybe that’s the reason why this year M.I.A. was a source of money for the media since she was constantly ditching female artist Lady Gaga saying that she copied a lot of her previous sounds, but that’s part of the past now, because The Fame Monster was declared today the most selled album of 2010 while /\/\/\Y/\ sales weren’t a huge deal, it seams that the Bionic effect hit M.I.A. because some of the songs that it contains are incredibly good like XXXO, Teqkilla, Steppin Up and others.

Another thing that's important (in my mind i think) is the fact that M.I.A. is always criticizing the industry, and the cover of this album was no exception (youtube bars!).

Until now, M.I.A. has released 6 singles in an attempt of making some publicity for her not-so-big-of-a-seller album but the one that we like the most is XXXO, so here’s the video (tumbs of for the double sense of the chorus).

BRANDON FLOWERS - Only the young can...

For those of you who don't have a damn clue of who's Brandon Flowers (like me just a month ago), let me tell you that he's the vocalist of The Killers (yeah, the american rock band from Las Vegas... yes, i looked it up on Wikipedia ¿ok? ). It's important to mention that right now the band has taken a short break from being together (6 years on the road, so... they deserved it). According to them, pretty soon they will reunite to work on their next project, but in the meanwhile, the vocalist Brandon Flowers has decided to release his first solo album which is called Flamingo back in September of this year.

Flamingo comes with 15 songs (in the Deluxe package of course) and up to now, Brandon has released Crossfire's official video and has chosen "Only The Young" as his second single (amazing choice by the way). So, while we wait for the official video, let's enjoy the video for Crossfire...

Crossfire -Brandon Flowers

And here are also...
Only The Young - Brandon Flowers

And our favorite track on Flamingo...
Jilted Lovers & Broken Hearts - Brandon Flowers

KESHA - Cannibal? It sounds better than what you think, believe me...

Back from a long rest! At last! Here we are, writing for you about our favorite artists, music, movies and... actually everything we could think of... really. So, here we are with the young lady (LOL, couldn't resist, sorry) Ke$ha who just last month dropped her latest album untitled "Cannibal", which was surprisingly original considering her last album was called "Animal"... Anyways, this time somebody tried to go Gaga on their album and only decided to give us 8 new tracks (so The Fame Monster of you Ke$ha).

About the album, well we think that 8 tracks was the best decision for her since actually only 4 of the songs are "good", which is quite weird since those are REALLY good (yeah, we said it!). So, congrats to Ke$ha for her new album and we really hope she chooses as singles some of our choices.

Now, if you are anxious to listen some of her new stuff (or if you already downloaded ilegally ;) ) here are, according to us, the most promising songs of the album...

Sleazy - Ke$ha

Blow - Ke$ha

Uh, and before we forgot, here's her latest music video for "We R Who We R" which actually was one of our songs selection...

LADY GAGA - Who doesn't want a a bad romance?? Eh baby?

In this times, everything is a competition! One example is the fight for the most seen ever Youtube video and the contestants are: Lady Gaga with "Bad Romance" & Justin Bieber with "Baby". Even though in this moment Justin is the one that's winning with 248,766,948 plays, Gaga isn't as far from the victory with 247,195,191 so.. just make up your mind and watch a lot of times the video you prefer!! (If you're smart you'll choose  Gaga!!!)

Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance" (Watch it!!!)

and.. Bieber with "Baby" (Don't forget to watch Bad Romance again!!)

KILL BILL - My baby shot me down...

One of my favorite movies of all time... Kill Bill. Even though it's been some years since it premiered, i haven't had the opportunity to watch this movie until last year, and immediately i felt in love with it (figuratively speaking.. of course). The thing that made this movie part of my favorites collection is just.. the story, the way that the events just appear.. so.. unexpected, with all the action that you need, but all the mystery that we deserve, i don't know,, it's kind of hard to describe this film, since i don't think there's any other movie that even compares to this one, but well maybe it's because i haven't watch a whole lot of Quentin Tarantino's movies (he's the director of this one, by the way).

So, i really hope you've all watched this movie, but if for some WEIRD reason you haven´t... well, what are you waiting for???? Just check this trailer for you to see what you are missing...

Kill Bill - Trailer

Anyways, are you curious to find out why is it that i wanted to do this post? (You aren't.. well, anyways) It's because i found one of the main songs of the film, the VIDEO! It's actually used more on the second part of the movie, and it is reaaally good, so dark and disturbed.. haha.. but it's still good..

Bang Bang - Nancy Sinatra

P.S. Like if you think she looks a lot like Taylor Switf
