LADY GAGA - For those that are in the waiting of Alejandro

One of the possible anthems of the summer according to MTV was Lady Gaga's single "Alejandro" from her album (not re-release) "The Fame Monster". So, the official video for the single was released a while ago. Now, some famous youtubers had been making their own version of the video and some of them, also of the song, so here is one example: her name is La Coacha and she sure is pretty funny (and mexican), her spanglish version of "Alejandro" will sure make you laugh a lot... Here it is...

BRANDON FLOWERS - Only the young can...

For those of you who don't have a damn clue of who's Brandon Flowers (like me just a month ago), let me tell you that he's the vocalist of The Killers (yeah, the american rock band from Las Vegas... yes, i looked it up on Wikipedia ¿ok? ). It's important to mention that right now the band has taken a short break from being together (6 years on the road, so... they deserved it). According to them, pretty soon they will reunite to work on their next project, but in the meanwhile, the vocalist Brandon Flowers has decided to release his first solo album which is called Flamingo back in September of this year.


Flamingo comes with 15 songs (in the Deluxe package of course) and up to now, Brandon has released Crossfire's official video and has chosen "Only The Young" as his second single (amazing choice by the way). So, while we wait for the official video, let's enjoy the video for Crossfire...

KESHA - Cannibal? It sounds better than what you think, believe me...

Back from a long rest! At last! Here we are, writing for you about our favorite artists, music, movies and... actually everything we could think of... really. So, here we are with the young lady (LOL, couldn't resist, sorry) Ke$ha who just last month dropped her latest album untitled "Cannibal", which was surprisingly original considering her last album was called "Animal"... Anyways, this time somebody tried to go Gaga on their album and only decided to give us 8 new tracks (so The Fame Monster of you Ke$ha). 


About the album, well we think that 8 tracks was the best decision for her since actually only 4 of the songs are "good", which is quite weird since those are REALLY good (yeah, we said it!). So, congrats to Ke$ha for her new album and we really hope she chooses as singles some of our choices. 


Now, if you are anxious to listen some of her new stuff (or if you already downloaded ilegally ;) ) here are, according to us, the most promising songs of the album...

For those of you who just can't get this song of your f***in' mind.. (yeah.. i'm on that list)! Here's the official video for Rihanna's "Only Girl (In The World)" which just show us how to waste an amazing song with a dumb video.. No offense but, this song is GREAT!! So, why don't make a video that is up to the song.. I don't know.. with a good choreography, an original idea, not just some random flowers (which look totally fake by the way). Once again, no offense, I truly like this young lady and I think she's hot and gorgeous, but I really hope she steps up her game with live performances at least.. Anyways, here's the video..

Now, it's time to introduce an artist that.. even when has 2 albums, maybe she's new to some of us.. her name is Shontelle, her style is R&B and it's like Rihanna before she went bad.. I haven't had time to listen to all her material but at the moment I found out about this song and its lyrics (which are really TRAGIC and SAD), i said to myself "You had to talk about this!" and well.. here it is.. I really prefer to just listen to the song.. because the video is like "Meh!", I felt I've seen that before... Anyways, beautiful song.. it's her first single "Impossible" from her album No Gravity.. Also check "Perfect Nightmare" which is her current single..

It's been a while since last post, but to return with a good one, here's one of my favorite live performances of all time.. this one is from Lady Gaga (weird eh?) while she was at the V Festival last year. The song I chose is "Paparazzi" and it has a pretty good remix involved and also.. just her voice, image.. it's everything.. Just check it..

NEWS FLASH OF THE WEEK!! Lady Gaga's coming to Mexico!!! Yeap, on May 2011 we will receive this young lady in our land, which is.. how to I say it correctly.. mmhh.. AMAZING! Tickets will start selling on September 6th, so we're practically doing anything we can to get the money to have the best seat available.. haha!!


Another good news is that on this week Gaga released a brand new song while performing on the Monster Ball Tour, it is called "Living On The Radio" and it's not been cleared if it's gonna be included on her next album, but still the song is incredibly good.. It's like a sad sad tale about the life of a pop star, just describes how they gave all for their dreams.. So here it is..

After her latest worldwide smash hit "Waka Waka" which was the official theme for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, has became the most successful song that ever represented this kind of event and also became the fourth most watched video on Youtube, Shakira has decided to release new material!!


Her new work is titled "Sale El Sol" ("Sun Comes Out" in english) and to give us a taste of this, she has just released her first single which is called "Loca". At first glance, it's a bit different to all of her previous songs, which may cause that some people dislike it, but after hearing it about 8 times, I kinda love it.. So here it is.. Because at the end, you are the only one that can judge if you like it or not..

Right now she has 5,883,377 followers, which just show us how many fans she has because she's such an amazing inspirational woman! Amy Winehouse is a piece of art.. because you know.. art is weird at times. Well, this young lady is about to turn 27 and has released two albums, but the one where everybody got to know her was called "Back To Black". I've to say that this is not my favorite music style, but her songs are so damn good that.. just changed my taste. She's supposed to release a new album next year, but who knows? LADY GAGA - New single? Teeth, Monster or Dance In The Dark?

Now with the summer just ending, it's time to say goodbye to vacations and summer anthems (Bye Alejandro!!), even though we will never forget neither one of those, the point is that GaGa needs to release a new single and us her "little monsters" are expecting great things from that woman because she has showed us that she can do GREAT things, so.. the media is always whispering weird rumors about her, but since we only care about her music, it's time to decide.. which song should be her fourth single???

+First it was "Bad Romance" according to GaGa "the most revolutionary song of the decade" and who can deny that?? (VOTE ON MTV.COM TO VIDEO OF THE YEAR)

+Second, "Telephone (ft. Beyoncé)", honestly not even in my wildest dreams i would have imagine this two women together but.. they didn't dissapoint (VOTE ON MTV.COM TO VIDEO OF THE YEAR)

+Third "Ale-Alejandro", now.. this one didn't had a lot of air time on the TV because of its dark/anti-religious/homo/weird/etc quality.. but, who can get this song out of their mind?? I know I can't...

+And fourth.. should it be ...
*"Monster" since it represents the title of the album it's pretty possible but remember she never released Fame from her previous work?

*"Teeth" honestly this is the song that I less like of GaGa 's repertoire even though I don't dislike it.. it's just not so good?

CHRISTINA AGUILERA - I am done.. smoking gun.. we lost it all.. you lost me

Here comes a song that I had mentioned you before "You Lost Me" by Christina Aguilera (remember? you don't?? anyways..), i told you about this song when she premiered it at the finale of American Idol (to check that CLICK HERE ), and well, i guess the important people from her record label found out that we loved the song and now she's releasing it as a single (good choice!). What happens with this song is that it reminds us that there are true singers out there that have amazing real voices and that not everything is auto-tune (right T-Pain??) and well, when you get to watch the official video for the song (at the end of the post) you'll see how much does Christina believes what she's singing, i even got to a point where i could almost feel her pain (that's normal right?) and remembered so many things (good times.. and bad ones too), anyways.. she's a great singer, that really knows how to transmit her emotions through voice and image. Although at this moment her new album (Bionic) isn't having a great sales period, i think her new material is really good, so just give her a chance and listen to what she's offering.. Even though her latest song "California Gurls" and some of her other singles (I Kissed A Girl, Hot & Cold...) had a dance tune attached to it, that is not enough for us to categorize this young lady as a singer that only makes music for the dance floor, nope, because she also has an unique way to express her emotions in amazing ballads (that she co-writes most of the time) like "Thinking Of You" and now this brand new single "Teenage Dream".

Some of you may not know this, but Katy is engaged to Russell Brand (yeah, the dude that presented the MTV VMA from 2009.. and actually, it was there when he met her, lucky bastard...) and some state that they are secretly married, but they said a wedding hasn't happen yet, anyways... that relationship is the one that makes this song so special because it's Katy who is happy as never before and well, only she knows how to put the magic that she's felling in a song, and.. that's what she did. I truly recommend you to listen to her new material, i think you'll be surprised (i am). So by now, here is her second single "Teenage Dream" from her latest album that shares the same name (the cover for the album is the image that you see up in this post). Check it out!

In this times, everything is a competition! One example is the fight for the most seen ever Youtube video and the contestants are: Lady Gaga with "Bad Romance" & Justin Bieber with "Baby". Even though in this moment Justin is the one that's winning with 248,766,948 plays, Gaga isn't as far from the victory with 247,195,191 so.. just make up your mind and watch a lot of times the video you prefer!! (If you're smart you'll choose  Gaga!!!)

Since it's been a while that i haven't post something about Gaga (well.. not really, but anyways), this post is dedicated to her. First, i'll talk about one of her fanmade songs which is called "Glamour Zombie" and it's  a good record! Actually, I first thought it was one of her demos, but anyways... In the lyrics, we can hear some of the things of which Gaga always talks about like: New York, Fashion, Fame and.. Death?

EVANESCENCE - When the paparazzi crosses the line...

This post is dedicated to one of the records from The Open Door, the latest Evanescence album, which i have to say was one of the best rock-metal albums of all time!! Well, the record of which i'm talking about is "Snow White Queen" and doing some research i found out that Amy Lee (the amazing singer of Evanescence) wrote this song inspired by her fear of some stalker that was frequently sending her some scary mail with some scary things written on it, so she just expressed her fear in this 4:45 minutes of glory... I really think you can feel the anguish that Amy was feeling when she wrote and recorded the song.. but, anyways it's a good record.. and here it is.. just to get our motors ready for their new album that comes on the fall of 2010!!

"... there'd be two more lonely people in the world tonight. baby, you and i..." and that's pretty much the chorus for one of the tracks from Miley's most recent album Can´t Be Tamed, the single is called "Two More Lonely People" and i have to say that i really like it, i was reviewing her new album just to make sure if it was worth and surprisingly i found it really good, a little bit Gaga-inspired but... really that only gave the album a plus!


So, i truly suggest you to check Miley's new material, there are a lot of more mature lyrics mixed with good electronics tunes... So here it's the song that i was talking about.. hope you like it...

THE CRANBERRIES - What's in my head?? Ahh!!

This is the first post that isn't about an artist or band that I admire, because, the truth is that I have never ever heard of The Cranberries before, but for some situations of life, now I happen to love some of their songs, so that's why I did some research and I ended up putting that here on my blog.


Well, for those who don't know nothing about The Cranberries, just understand that i'm not talking about the fruit ok? The Cranberries are an irish rock band that was created back in 1989, their leading singer is a woman who has one truly amazing voice (like a mix between Shakira and Linda Perry in my opinion), they have sold millions of albums worldwide, so... they're pretty good.


Anyways, here are some of the songs that I've been hearing recently that still stuck in my head... but, since their songs are really good, it doesn't butter me at all...


First, their single "Zombie" which deals with political matters and the humanity, it truly gives a taste of the leading lady singing power...
