BLACK EYED PEAS – Second single is out! It’s time for their next dirty bit! Just can’t get enough!

So The Black Eyed Peas made some headlines with their exclusive performance at the Super Bowl yesterday, you know why? Because they nailed it! It was truly an epic moment, and yes maybe they weren’t singing so good but they had a good time, and did we!

Now the reason why you’re here is because now we can tell you that Black Eyed Peas’s second single from The Beginning is none other than Just Can’t Get Enough (which if you remember was the first option on the poll they created to choose the single! Coincidence?). Personallly, we would’ve preferred Don’t Stop The Party or Love You Long Time, but… there’s always a third single, right?

While they drop the official vid, let’s just enjoy the song and admire the artwork for the single because their artwork has been quite good lately, don’t you think?

BRITNEY SPEARS – Hold It Against Me is almost here! The Femme Fatale isn’t quite ready yet… Check the preview!

Just a couple of days ago the world found out the title of Brit’s next record and it’s Femme Fatale! (Which sounds ridiculously familiar to those of you have heard of Erika Fatale but anyways…).

Britney also revealed the cover for the album and stated the day when she will release the official vid for her first single Hold It Against Me directed by Jonas Åkerlund (who also directed Paparazzi for Gaga) and since that day she’s been releasing teaser trailers about this new project, which are quite good! In case you haven't seen the official cover... here it is! Femme Fatale!

At first, we weren’t digging Brit’s song a lot, but so far we are hooked and cannot get it out of our minds, so we’ll wait patiently for this video that hopefully restablishes Britney Spears as the Princess of Pop (spot that Gaga seems to have taken over quite a while ago), so the best wishes! RIHANNA – Oh oh, it seems S&M may have been a copy of David LaChapelle’s work!

You know? When we first saw the video we felt that we have seen some things before… And we guess we were right… It seems that Melina Matsoukas (the director for RiRi’s S&M) took a little too much inspiration from acclaimed photographer David LaChapelle’s past work!

Anyways, we still love the video and at least we’re happy that she took inspiration from such a great artist… While we see how this whole conflict unveils, let’s keep enjoying S&M!

MELISSA GRIFFITHS – She is here! Gaga, Taylor Swift, Adele, Katy Perry… you better watch your back because Melissa Griffiths is ready to be the new pop sensation!

We will never stop saying that we LOVE music A LOT and that’s the reason why we just find it so entertaining to look for new talent, new sounds, new artists. And luckily for us, a couple of weeks ago we had the chance to find a girl called Melissa Griffiths!

Melissa is a British singer/songwriter that’s 17 years old and it’s ready to take over the world with her amazing voice. One thing that is sure is that she ain’t no newbie for this industry because she’s been playing guitar and going to theater school since she was 8! As we mentioned before, she LOVES (or you could say LIVES) to write, she even has probably written close to 100 songs!

About her music influences: Melissa likes driving while listening to The Platters, Neil Young, The White Stripes or Miss Katy Perry! She also enjoys artists like John Mayer that really have deep lyrics on their songs.

Because of all the above, Melissa is currently working in London to produce some music but those stupid damn record labels haven’t signed her yet!

So if you wanna enjoy some new tunes, we suggest you to check Melissa Griffiths myspace ASAP because we have the feeling we’ll be hearing a lot more from her on this 2011! Here are some of her tracks…

ADELE – Couldn’t believe Jamie XX managed to make Rolling In The Deep a better track! You have to listen this song!

Lately we haven’t had the time to enjoy some new tunes but we’re happy to say that we found one hell of a track that just fits perfect with our music choices! 

First of all, we’re not really big fans of remixes since (almost always) they tend to be lame not so good comparing to the original version, but… and this is a BIG BUT... Jamie XX has done an outstanding job while remixing (aka making even more perfect) Adele’s first single from 21, Rolling In The Deep!

You do not want to miss this track and if you’ve already heard of it, then listen to it again because it’s wonderful! Anyways… the only sure thing is that we don’t see this Adele obsession going anywhere sometime near!

NICKI MINAJ – She’s doing the creep! SNL was never so good, and that’s a FACT!

Even though this has been news since Saturday, I decided to talk about it when I noticed that I had The Creep song attached to a part of my brain! 

For those of you who don’t know, SNL (Saturday Night Live) is a show that’s been on the air for decades and they usually do sketches where they mock of everything and they always have a special guest and a featuring artist. Last Saturday, it was the time for Jesse Eisenberg (the guy who played Mark Zuckerberg, the creator of Facebook, on The Social Network) and Nicki Minaj! Let’s just say… it was a GOOOD episode!

The time has come for us to enjoy the official vid for one of the best damn songs of Rihanna’s latest record Loud and that’s S&M!

Since the moment we first heard the song, we beg to our music gods that her record label decided to release this one as a single and… oh boy, God heard our prayers because they chose it and now there’s an official video that is completely pop, full of colors and extremely sexified, which is a perfect fit for that catchy song that sooner or later we will come to love.
